LOVELL — The Lovell Arts & Artisans Fair, in its 49th year, is set from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at the New Suncook School, 95 Main St. The event will benefit the Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library; admission is free.
The event will showcase the work of 45 local artisans who create oil paintings, watercolor landscapes, hand-thrown pottery, jewelry, hand-blown glass vases, ornaments, wooden household items, photography, fiber arts, hand knit items, wearable art T-shirts and hats, wood-turned bowls and vases, handmade handbags, artistic notecards, felted sculpture, boiled wool clothing, antique China tiered serving trays and fine art prints.
The exhibit will be in the gymnasium space and hallways, and outdoors on the lawn. Musical entertainment will be provided throughout the day.
Also featured will be homemade pies for sale, grilled food and sandwiches and more.
A raffle with 15 items will be on display. Tickets cost $1 for one or $5 for six, to purchase tickets in advance stop by the Charlotte Hobbs Library or at the fair.
