NORWAY — The Norway Museum and Historical Society will host its final program of the summer on Tuesday, August 13, at 7 p.m. in the meeting room at 471 Main Street in Norway. Angela Todd will present “The Klain Family: A Norway WWI Story.”
Last year, Angela stopped to read the names of WWI veterans listed on the memorial stone on the corner by the Guy E. Rowe School, and was surprised to see so many of the Klain family listed there. That started her investigation into this well-known immigrant family and their service in the war. Join us to hear the Klain family story and the surprising discovery Angela found.
Angela Todd is an archivist and historian who specializes in saving the stories usually relegated to the sidelines of history. She has recently returned to her home state of Maine.
