WEST PARIS — Fire crews responded to calls Tuesday evening for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Main Street, according to a dispatcher.
Early reports indicate the person who was struck complained of a head injury and injuries to both legs.
West Paris Fire Department responded to the incident which occurred around 5 p.m. LifeFlight of Maine was called for the victim and touched down just before 5:30 p.m.
Woodstock fire crews assisted, briefly closing Main Street at Route 26.
Oxford County Sheriff’s Office and West Paris Fire Department were not immediately available for details on the incident.
