What a beautiful time of year it is to live in Maine: the summer sun, cool breeze, tranquil lakes, and peaceful seashore this time of year.
Despite the beauty of nature, when assessing our incoming bills my stress increases as less and less of the money I earn remains in my pocket. Appliances wear out faster, the cost of fuel and electricity keeps rising, and dare I talk about our grocery bill yet again? You get the idea. It’s discouraging to say the least.
So I set down my phone and social media and begin talking to the people around me. They are experiencing the same difficulties. That is why I want someone fighting for me in Augusta to keep what’s mine. A voice for a free Maine. The Maine I want to go beyond my doorstep to enjoy.
Which is why I will be voting for Laurel Libby.
