Unfortunately, the Lewiston-Auburn Balloon Festival didn’t launch as planned this morning. The first hot air balloon launch was scheduled for 6 a.m. Friday. But dense fog scuttled that plan.

Despite the nonlaunch of balloons, several balloons did inflate this morning. And they put on a show.
