Team Burundi won the Maine World Cup soccer tournament earlier this month in Lewiston. The tournament was hosted by Wahda United and Generational Noor. Burundi was coached by Albert Rwabira and assistant Emmanuel Sungubele. The team includes captain Blandin Muhimpundu, Sean-Marley Rwabira, Cliff Grova Rwabira, Jose Kiala, Steve Matanga, David Kita, Chris Dushime, Cristo Vumpa, Lucio Quibinda, Chris Irakoze, Ej Sungubele , Ahmed Al Mshakheel, Haga Tela, Clovis Kalisa and Celestin Dunckins.
