Joe Adams, St. Dom’s, junior: Adams should be a top contributor for the Saints this season. He helped St. Dom’s win the Class C title by shooting an 89 at the Class C state championship. He also scored a 91 at the WMC qualifier.

Alex Grimaldi, Spruce Mountain, senior: Grimaldi led all Phoenix golfers last year with a 42.7 average for nine holes, including a 38 during a home match at Turner Highlands. He finished tied for 13th at the Class C championship with an 83.

Jade Haylock, Leavitt, senior: The reigning Maine Women’s Amateur and Junior champion is looking for her fourth straight Class B girls individual championship this fall. She finished with 37 scoring average for nine holes in her regular season matches last year an an average score of 70 average over 18 holes during the postseason.

Riley Inch, Monmouth, senior: Inch shot an 85 and placed 17th in the individual state champion and helped the Mustangs tie for four in last year’s Class C championship.

Mason Laflamme, St. Dom’s senior: Laflamme is the top returning golfer from the Saints’ state championship team. He sported a 40 average for nine holes and was the runner-up at the WMC Class C qualifier last fall.

Alex Mains, Poland, junior: Mains reached the Class B individual state championship, where he shot a 92, and he scored an 89 at the WMC Class B qualifier.

Alexis McCormick, Oxford Hills, senior: The Vikings senior was the co-Class A girls individual champion in 2023. She recorded a regular season average of 40 average during her junior season.

Daxtyn Poisson, Spruce Mountain, senior: Poisson’s 88 was good for seventh place at the MVC qualifier. He also fired a 94 at the Class C championship to help the Phoenix finish 11th. In the 2023 regular season he tallied a 46.4 scoring average over nine holes.

Joey Samson, Edward Little, senior: Samson led the Red Eddies to a fifth-place finish at the Class A championship by shooting a 76, which tied for sixth in the individual championship. He also shot an 83 at the KVAC qualifier.

Henry Stone, Gray-New Gloucester, sophomore: Stone had an outstanding freshman season in 2023 included a nine-hole average of 41. He fired off a 78 at the WMC Class B qualifier.
