08/10/2024 0047hrs, Deputy Couture responded to a report of a male walking back and forth on the Wilton Road in Farmington talking to himself. The male turned out to be a person Deputies have been trying to locate in the northern Franklin County area since the day before. The man suffers from mental health issues and as transported to FMH.
0543hrs, Deputy Morgan received a 911 call on George Thomas Road in New Sharon. This turned out to be an accidental dial.
0645hrs, Deputy Morgan responded to a report of a car vs. utility pole accident on the Farmington Road in Strong. Martin Kelley (20) of Avon was driving a 2017 Chevy Cruze when he drifted off the road into the pole. CMP was called to the scene; no injuries were reported.
0713hrs, Deputy Wacome responded to the town office in New Sharon regarding an alarm. This was set off by town staff.
0805hrs, Deputy Morgan and Deputy Wacome participated in the New Sharon days event.
0932hrs, Deputy Gray received a trespassing complaint at a residence on Palmers Way in Dallas Plt. this turned out to be a neighbor of the complainant.
1227hrs, Deputy Wacome received a 911 call on Taylor Hill Road in New Vineyard. This was an accidental dial.
1250hrs, Deputy Wacome and Sgt. Close responded to a residence on Norton Hill Road in Strong where it was reported by the complainant that a family member was in their house consuming illegal narcotics. As a result of the investigation Angel Blanchard (46) of Livermore Falls was arrested for Violation of Conditions of Release and two counts of Unlawful Possession of Scheduled Drugs. She was transported to jail.
1251hrs, Deputy Morgan received a complaint of shots being fired on Zion’s Hill Road in Chesterville. He was unable to locate the source of the call.
1322hrs, Deputy Gray responded to a business alarm at the Rangeley Lake School. This was a false alarm set off by staff.
1347hrs, Deputy Morgan investigated a harassment complaint on Main Street in New Sharon.
1513hrs, Deputy Elmes responded to a report of a disabled vehicle on the Parmachenee Road in Sandy River Plt.
1716hrs, Deputy Elmes received a 911 call on Pemaquid Trail in Rangeley. This turned out to be an accidental dial by a hiker.
2119hrs, Deputy Elmes received a request to check upon a male hiker in his 70’s off Berkshire Road in Rangeley. The man was transported to the Saddleback Motor Inn.
08/11/2024 0825hrs, Deputy Morgan investigated a vandalism complaint at a residence on the Industry Road in Industry.
1036hrs, Deputy Gray responded to a report of a single vehicle accident on West Side Road in Weld. William Cardina (34) of Dover OH was driving a 2015 Honda Accord when he crossed the centerline and ran into the ditch eventually striking a culvert which propelled the vehicle back into the road.
1228hrs, Deputy Morgan received a request for a welfare check to be conducted at a residence on the Withey Road in New Vineyard. The person to be checked was located and found to be okay.
1648hrs, Deputy Maccione received a complaint of speeding cars on the West Road in Chesterville.
1648hrs, Deputy Brann received a welfare check request to be conducted on the Industry Road in Industry. Before he could respond, the complainant called and told him to disregard.
2134hrs, Deputy Maccione responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on the Farmington Falls Road in New Sharon. He was unable to locate the suspect vehicle.
2351hrs, Deputy Maccione conducted a traffic stop on Main Street in Farmington. As a result of the stop Tasha Allen (33) of New Sharon was arrested for Obstructing Government Administration, Lindsay Strout (38) of Farmington was arrested on a Warrant. Officer Bacon of Farmington Police and Deputy Brann assisted with the arrests. Both were transported to jail.

0923hrs, Sgt. Sholan assisted Cpl. Rosie with a multiple car theft investigation in the Farmington/ Franklin County area involving juveniles.
0955hrs, Deputy Morgan investigated a report of vandalism at a residence on Chesterville Hill Road in Chesterville. No evidence of a crime.
1023hrs, Deputy Gray investigated a harassment complaint at a residence on Blanchard Ave. in Eustis.
1151hrs, Deputy Morgan investigated what turned out to be a civil issue at a residence on the Swan Road in New Sharon.
1230hrs, Deputy Morgan accompanied the ACO to a residence in Weld regarding a complaint of animals getting loose.
1641hrs, Deputy Brann responded to a residential alarm at a residence on Church Street in New Vineyard. This was a false alarm.
1949hrs, Deputy Frost conducted a traffic stop on the Farmington Falls Road in New Sharon. As a result of the stop Ryan McGinty (44) of Jay was arrested on a Warrant and transported to jail without incident.
1954hrs, Deputy Elmes responded to a car vs. moose accident on Route 27 in Wyman Twp. Brooklyn LeClair (25) of Waterville was driving a 2021 Toyota Rav 4 northbound when the collision occurred.
2033hrs, Deputy Maccione received a complaint of dark colored pickup truck speeding on Cape Cod Hill Road in New Sharon.
08/13/2024 0833hrs, Deputy Wacome received a complaint from a person on Burbank Hill Road in Avon who had issues with a business in Mass.
0928hrs, Deputy Frost conducted a probation check at a residence on West Kingfield Road. As a result of the check Gordon Webber (34) of Farmington was arrested on a Warrant and transported to jail.
1242hrs, Deputy Couture responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle complaint on Birches Beach Road in Rangeley Plt.
1520hrs, Deputy Couture conducted a traffic stop on Route 4 in Phillips. As a result of the stop Branden Morrissette (38) of Springville ME was arrested for OAS and transported to jail.
1636hrs, Deputy Brann investigated a theft complaint at a residence on the River Road in Carthage.
2019hrs, Deputy Couture received a complaint of a White Toyota Tacoma whose driver has a habit of “burning rubber” on Dallas Hill in Dallas Plt.
2038hrs, Deputy Couture responded to a car vs. deer accident on Bemis Road in Rangeley Plt. Carolynn Evans (30) of Rangeley Plt. was driving a sedan when the collision occurred.
08/14/2024 0548hrs, Deputy Wacome responded to a report of a single vehicle accident on Anson Valley Road in New Vineyard. Amanda Crandall (34) of Strong was driving a 2016 GMC eastbound when she ran off the road to the right, struck a tree which caused the vehicle to cross the road. Once on the other side it rolled over several times. Northstar Rescue responded to the scene as well as New Vineyard Fire.
0747hrs, Deputy Frost investigated a complaint of unauthorized people using the complainant’s hot tub at a residence on Russell Cove Circle in Rangeley.
0621hrs, Sgt. Sholan responded to a report of two vehicles running in the parking lot at the Dollar General in Kingfield where the occupants were passed out. As a result of the investigation Taryn Coffin (34) of Kingfield was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Class C
1247hrs, Deputy Wacome responded to a report of a car vs. deer accident on mains Street in Rangeley. Stephanie Chu-O’Neil (54) of Oquossoc was driving a 2017 Toyota when the collision occurred.
1430hrs, Deputy Frost investigated the theft of six ton of wood pellets from the Lignetics of Maine mill on Norton Hill Road in Strong.
2037hrs, Deputy Brann responded to a disturbance call at a residence on the Pillsbury Road in Strong. No crimes were identified.

1505hrs, Deputy Wacome investigated a complaint of electricity theft from a residence on Blake Hill Road in Phillips.
1734hrs, Deputy Gray received a complaint about a suspicious person at a business on Main Street in Rangeley.
2031hrs, Sgt. Close received a complaint of lost dogs on Mountain View Drive in Strong.
2243hrs, Deputy Gray received a residential alarm on Bald Mountain Road in Rangeley. This was a false alarm.
2238hrs, Sgt. Close received a complaint of suspicious persons in a pickup truck on South Main Street in Strong where it was reported that the pickup truck did not have their lights on, and that the driver was wearing a clown mask.
08/16/2024 0051hrs, Deputy Gray responded to a disturbance call involving truck drivers in the tractor trailer parking area behind Poland Springs in Kingfield. No charges were filed.
0723hrs, Deputy Morgan investigated a vandalism complaint on the Intervale Road in Temple where a 2007 Honda Accord had its rear window intentionally smashed.
0931hrs, Deputy Morgan investigated a vandalism complaint on the Intervale Road in Temple where the complainant’s mailbox was destroyed.
1101hrs, Deputy Wacome received a complaint is dirt bikes driving on Angel Point Road in Rangeley.
1236hrs, Deputy Morgan responded to a report of an injured dog on the River Road in Avon.
1246hrs, Deputy Wacome received a complaint of a person who had borrowed the complainants F-250 Super duty on Tuesday and had not returned it.
1248hrs, Deputy Morgan received a theft complaint at a residence on Shadagee Lane in Phillips. This turned out not to be a theft, but an issue with an elderly person with dementia who misplaces items in their residence.
1324hrs, Deputy Morgan received a request for a welfare check to be conducted on a juvenile at a residence on the Wilton Road in Chesterville.
1350hrs, Deputy Morgan received a request for a welfare check to be conducted on a person at a residence eon the Industry Road in Industry. The complainant was concerned about possible abuse issues, upon arrival Moran checked on the person and interviewed them. The person to be checked did not indicate any concerns about abuse.
1505hrs, Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office provided route security for the Old Home Days Parade in Phillips as well as the street dance afterwards.
1525hrs, Deputy Wacome received a theft of political signs complaint at a residence on Norton Hill Road in Strong.
1647hrs, Deputy Maccione responded to a report of a two-car accident on ridge Street in Philips. Eva Spear (18) of Phillips was driving a 2022 Subaru through the sharp corner on Bridge Street approaching the bridge, Keri Brewer (35) of Salem Twp. was driving a 2015 Chrysler in the opposite direction approaching the same sharp corner. Both vehicles collided in the corner. No injuries were reported.
2243hrs, Deputy Maccione received a 911 call at a residence on the Parlin Road in Phillips. This was an accidental dial.
