I am writing in support of Tammy Hoke’s campaign for House District 76 — Jay, Livermore Falls and Livermore.
At a time when so much of our politics has become a slogan-based food fight, it is rare to encounter someone so entirely motivated by her desire to serve.
Tammy Hoke has lived and worked in Jay her entire life and wants to continue that service by representing us in Augusta. Her work history exemplifies her commitment to community service.
I met her when she volunteered as a teen at the Jay Niles Library. She has been that library’s director for the past 18 years and, in between, she was a family support worker, served on the Regional School Unit 73 board, and worked with literacy volunteers.
With her deep understanding of our community, she would work hard and effectively for us in Augusta.
