BETHEL — A New Hampshire man died of his injuries on Aug. 24 from a motorcycle crash a week prior.
Charles Plum, 69, of Bartlett, New Hampshire, died a week after he was struck by a vehicle on Aug. 17 while operating his motorcycle at the intersection of Walkers Mills Road, which is Maine Route 26, and Taylor Smith Road.
Plum was initially brought to MaineHealth Stephens Hospital in Norway before being flown to Maine Medical Center in Portland, where he died from his injuries.
The Oxford County Sheriff’s Office has released little information about the crash.
“The crash is currently under investigation,” said Maj. Dana Thompson. “There are no charges at this time. Specially trained deputies are diligently working this investigation.”
Plum had worked as a computer scientist in the Boston area and was the safety officer for his motorcycle club, the Mount Washington Valley Riders.
