Seminar

BETHEL — There will be a Prophecies of Hope Bible Seminar on Sept. 5, 8, 10, 12 & 15, all at 5:30 p.m. at the white tent near the Bethel cemetery on Rte 26 in Bethel. Supper

WATERFORD — There will be a public supper at North Waterford Congregational Church on Tuesday, Sept. 3 from 5-6:30 p.m. The menu will include baked beans, American chop suey, coleslaw, salads, casseroles, brown bread, rolls, beverages, and homemade pies. The cost will be $12 for adults and $6 for children under 12. The church is on Rte 35, just off 118, 10 Irving Green Rd.

Window inserts 

HARRISON — Jessica Williams will present about Window Dressers, who provide insulating, lightweight, see-through, removable.window dressings. Jessica will explain how they work and how to order. There will be a Q&A time and snacks offered. This year’s order deadline is September 10. You could order them now, at windowdressers.org/insulating-inserts/ and then come to the presentation on September 10, from 6-7 p.m. at United Parish UCC Church,  77 Main St. Harrison. The presentation is sponsored by Resilient Harrison Maine.
