On Aug. 23 I placed a sign on my front lawn supporting Democrats Kamala Harris and Tim Walz to lead our American government.
The next morning I went to the mailbox, and the Harris-Walz sign was gone. I checked the surrounding area and grasses up and down the street, and I did not find the sign.
I would like to place another sign supporting Harris and Walz on my lawn, but in my mind I ask if I should expect discrimination or violence of some kind if I do.
We do live in a violent time.
