America seems to be divided everywhere one looks. Moral issues, ethical issues, and a general sense of disagreement on important issues.
As the divide has seemed to expand, regardless of where one looks, one thing I have noticed is that there are people trying to heal it. While many candidates in Maine have appeared to make promises that hold true in word only, it has been my experience that few follow through on those promises.
Rep. Laurel Libby is one candidate who time and time again has followed through. In a world where character and integrity fall by the wayside, Laurel has stood up and kept her word in Augusta.
I am proud to live in her district and to endorse her for public office. By working to lower costs for our family in these difficult economic times through legislation, it is clear she has our best interests in sight.
