Jaxson August, Winthrop, senior, goalkeeper: August was both Sun Journal All-Region first team and first-team MVC last year. Four of the Ramblers’ five wins in 2023 were shutouts.
Jordan Castonguay, Oak Hill, senior, midfielder: Castonguay received first-team MVC honors and a Sun Journal All-Region honorable mention in 2023. He’s expected to be a go-to player for the Raiders this season.
Ben Cole, Edward Little, senior, striker/midfielder: Cole notched some big goals for the Red Eddies in 2023 and finished the season with 11 goals and four assists.
Riley Daigle, St. Dom’s, junior, goalkeeper: Daigle earned second-team Sun Journal All-Region honors and WMC Class C/D honorable mention last year. His backstopping will be important for the Saints to make another playoff run this fall.
Rory Foyt, Monmouth, junior, midfielder: Since the Mustangs lost a good chunk of offense due to graduation, coach Joe Fletcher expects Foyt to be one of the players to carry the offensive workload this season for the defending Class D state champions.
Krosby Harvey, Buckfield, sophomore, forward: Harvey had a fantastic freshman season while showcasing his playmaking abilities. With the graduation of Justin Lucas, Harvey will have an even bigger role this fall for the Bucks.
Mechi Mbele, Lewiston, junior, midfielder: Mbele is expected to be a key contributor for the Blue Devils as they try to win the program’s fifth state championship.
Tegra Mbele, Lewiston, senior, forward: Tegra Mbele scored the game-winning goal in the Blue Devils’ Class A state championship victory last fall. It was one of several key goals he had as a junior. He will again be one of Lewiston’s top offensive options in 2024.

Ash Rollins, Mt. Abram, senior, defense: Rollins, a second-team Sun Journal All-Region and second-team MVC honoree will play a key role for the Roadrunners in their defense of the Class C state championship.
Gerek Theriault, Lisbon, forward: Theriault was an MVC honorable mention in 2023 and is expected to be a key offensive player for the Greyhounds in 2024.
