The Donald Trump/JD Vance campaign has taken heat of late for making nativist and divisive racial slurs and memes on social media.
Recently they posted a message on “X” suggesting that a Kamala Harris presidency would turn white suburbia into places overrun by migrants from Africa, showing the dichotomy of an image of a cookie cutter white suburban neighborhood juxtaposed with that of a horde of desperate-looking Black people with the distorted phrase (or chyron): “Import the third world, become the third world.”
As distasteful as this is, “45” trumped even that with remarks claiming that suburban white women will vote for him, as he will protect them from this invented jingoist eugenicist threat.
But let’s see how many golden sneakers and autographed $10,000 “knockout debate suit” tchotchkes that educated demographic actually consumes between now and November.
