HEBRON — Lewiston/Auburn native Greg Dumais has been appointed director of rink operations and women’s varsity hockey at Hebron Academy.
Dumais brings to Hebron a history in athletics as a coach, professional hockey referee and board member, as well as being a leader in youth sports in the Lewiston/Auburn communities.
“Dumais will be our first director of ice rink operations,” Hebron Academy Director of Athletics Rob Morris said in a news release. “Through his leadership of our state-of-the-art Robinson Ice Hockey Arena, we look forward to welcoming youth hockey organizations, adult leagues, and community skates as well as tournaments, camps, and clinics.”
Dumais was born and raised in Auburn, attending Edward Little High School and playing college baseball at St. Joseph’s College. He lives in Turner and remains active in youth sports, particularly hockey and baseball.

We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
For those stories that we do enable discussion, our system may hold up comments pending the approval of a moderator for several reasons, including possible violation of our guidelines. As the Maine Trust’s digital team reviews these comments, we ask for patience.
Comments are managed by our staff during regular business hours Monday through Friday and limited hours on Saturday and Sunday. Comments held for moderation outside of those hours may take longer to approve.
