OXFORD — Included in the Oxford Hills/Nezinscot Adult Education Fall Catalog is the upcoming Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training. October 7 – December 19, 2024. Classes are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4 – 7 p.m. Clinicals will be in Paris and are scheduled on Thursdays from 3:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Students will complete the Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment (CASA), complete an application, submit high school or college diploma, and all required vaccine records to be admitted, including but not limited to rubeola (measles), mumps, rubella (German measles), varicella (chicken pox), hepatitis B and influenza (annual).
Prospective students first need to call 207-743-8842 x1541 to schedule the CASA exam.
If accepted, most applications will be eligible for funding assistance or free training through Workforce & Professional Development, Maine Jobs and Recovery Program, workforcedevelopment@cmcc.edu through Central Maine Community College. Funding conditions do apply.
Oxford Hills/Nezinscot Adult Education offers a wide range of classes and programs in basic education and English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), high school completion, HiSET High School Equivalency Test, college transitions/preparation, workforce training and enrichment areas.
