Kiara Bushman, Edward Little, senior: Bushman knows how to score points, recording 22 kills and 15 aces in 2023. Expect Bushman to provide similar production for the Red Eddies this fall.

Nellie Feeney, Edward Little, junior: Another player expected to earn points this season for the Red Eddies who also is good around the net. She had 16 aces, 13 kills, and 15 solo blocks last year. Coach Kristi Gordon said Feeney works hard on her own and takes feedback well.

Ella Gahagan, Lewiston, senior: Ella has been with the Blue Devils since the inception of the volleyball program. “So she knows what we need to do and she keeps the fire going,” Lewiston coach Jennifer Curlee.

Emily Higgins, Gray-New Gloucester, junior: Higgins will be a leader on the back line for the Patriots and has a strong defensive game, but she can provide points when the team needs it. “Emily has a strong court awareness and knowledge of the sport,” Gray-New Gloucester coach Madison Tait said.

Ava Marquis, Lewiston, junior: A defensive specialist who recorded 101 digs last season while also recording 42 aces from the service line. “She’s a huge part of the heart (of the team), she battles it out,” Curlee said. “As tiny as she is, you would think she was 6-foot.”

Ellie Lipson Thacker, junior, Gray-New Gloucester: Will be a key player for the Patriots at the net both as a hitter and a blocker. “She works hard in her ability to track hitters and puts up a large block for opposing teams to work around,” Tait said.
