Looking back at my boot camp days brings both tough and good memories.
Tough because the work was hard. It took sacrifice and a drive to overcome the obstacles in my way. Recalling those hard-won challenges along with my fellow brothers, those are the good days I won’t soon forget.
There are others out there, like myself, with grit to accomplish great things. Rep. Laurel Libby is one of those people. When confronted, she handles herself with poise, honor and courage.
I like that spirit in my representative. Which is why I will be voting to reelect Laurel Libby for state House of Representatives.
From one veteran to my fellow Americans, I hope they will, too.
Dale Brown, Minot
