AUGUSTA — The Maine Woodcarvers Association is dedicated to the education and promotion of woodcarving as an art form. In keeping with this philosophy, we organize and promote the annual Maine Woodcarvers Association Show.
The Maine Wood Carvers Association Show and Competition will be at the Buker Community Center, 22 Armory Street in Augusta on Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Take a class or watch a demonstration. Vote for the People’s Choice Award. Shop for supplies from several vendors, including MDI Woodcarvers Supply. There will be raffle items and a 50/50 drawing. All carvers are encouraged to enter; entries will be accepted: Oct. 4 from 7 – 8:30 p.m. or Oct 5 from 7 – 9 a.m.
