It’s difficult to truly convey what Lewiston Sen. Peggy Rotundo has done and continues to do for our community.
Peggy’s leadership and her genuine concern for the lives of Lewiston people results in support for all of us. Peggy gets the job done.
Following Oct. 25, 2023, Peggy’s advocacy for Lewiston resulted in critical support for our community. She successfully advocated for $5 million in state funding to cover future health care costs for violent crime survivors, including Oct. 25 survivors. She ensured Lewiston was reimbursed for costs associated with the Oct. 25 manhunt. Peggy made sure existing behavioral health supports in Lewiston remain funded — and led efforts to create more.
Peggy understands the true impact of listening and connecting people with what they need when they don’t know where else to turn. Peggy Rotundo supports us, and I hope Lewiston voters join me in supporting her on Nov. 5.
