“Music for Mavis” Tuesdays at the Gazebo will wrap up the season with Milltown Roadshow from 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at the gazebo in Turner.
This 4-piece acoustic band plays a great selection of “Americana” songs as well as several well-crafted originals. Terry Swett, the band’s founder, composed Maine’s State Song of the 21st Century, “My Sweet Maine.”
The show will go on rain or shine. Bring a chair, a blanket, and a friend. We pass the hat to pay the musicians. Suggested donation $10. For more information, call 207-754-0954 or 207-249-8046 or visit the Music for Mavis page on Facebook. The gazebo is located off Route 117 near the Turner Public Library at 98 Mathews Way, Turner.
