HARRISON — The Bolsters Mills United Methodist Church will be selling our FAMOUS chicken pies and gravy on the third Saturday of the month until further notice. This month’s sale will be on Saturday, September 21. Orders for pies will be taken only on the morning of the 21st by calling the church, at 583-9024, between 9 and 11 a.m. Please do not leave a message.
Chicken pies must be picked up at the church, 664 Bolsters Mills Road in Bolsters Mills Village, Harrison between 1 and 2 p.m., unless arrangements are made when placing the order. One Famous Chicken Pie with Gravy is $15. Multiple pies may be ordered; however, we cannot always guarantee that large quantities can be honored. The chicken pies are fully cooked and can be frozen and reheated for a future meal.

HEBRON — Hebron Historical Society welcomes Maine author Marie Therese Martin to discuss her book, And Poison Fell From The Sky, her research on a Maine paper mill and cancer affecting area residents. This event will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 7 p.m. at the Hebron Town Office. The public is invited, and books will be available.
Supper
WEST PARIS — There will be a Roast Beef Supper held by the Ring McKeen Legion at 6 Church Street, West Paris on September 21, 4:30-6 p.m. There’s a requested donation of $12 per person, eat-in or take-out. To reserve a meal, call 1-207-381-0504. The menu will be roast beef, mashed potato, green beans, rolls, dessert, and beverage.
