WALES — Brandon Plourde paced Oak Hill to a 6-3 boys soccer victory over Maranacook by scoring three goals in Monday’s Mountain Valley Conference matchup.
Drew Hatula added two goals and three assists for the Raiders (2-4), while Ethan Lemont tallied a goal.
Thatcher Riley scored three goals and Max Cavan had two assists for the Black Bears (1-4).
WINTHROP 1, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 1: The Ramblers and the Falcons played to a draw in Rumford.
Mountain Valley’s (0-4-2) Tanner Banaciscki set up Ryder Harding for a first-half goal, then Winthrop’s (1-2-2) Isaac Breau netted the equalizer in the second half.
Falcons goalie Ben DeSalle made 11 saves, while Jaxon August stopped two shots for the Ramblers.
TELSTAR 3, RANGELEY 0: Cyrus Mills scored twice for the Rebels and goalie Adam Stephenson held the Lakers scoreless in an 8-player soccer matchup in Bethel.
Mills had the only goal of the first half. Nick Lapointe assisted on Mills’ second goal five minutes into the second half. Tommy Lapointe netted the final goal for Telstar (4-1).
Rangeley (2-5) was aggressive on offense throughout the game but didn’t get anything past Stephenson, who finished with seven saves.
FIELD HOCKEY
ST. DOMINIC 7, WELLS 0: Madeline Andrews scored three goals as the Saints (4-2) defeated the Warriors (1-5) at Auburn.
Chloe Beauchesne added two goals, and Emily Andrews and Ava Martin also scored.
