09/14/2024 0845hrs, Deputy Gray investigated a report of a suspicious activity near a residence on the Weld Road in Phillips where the caller reported an unknown vehicle had parked behind their barn. The vehicle was gone upon arrival.

09/14/2024 0854hrs, Deputy Wacome responded to a complaint of an abandoned trailer frame on the Jenkins Road in Temple.

09/14/2024 0938hrs, Deputy Gray investigated a complaint of a possible Violation of a Protection Order at a residence on Mountain View Road in Eustis. A suspect was identified, the case is still under investigation.

09/14/2024 1029hrs, Deputy Wacome investigated a parking lot accident at the New Vineyard Post office. Jacob Moody (22) of New Vineyard was driving a 2011 Chevy pickup into the parking lot when David Bliss (77) of New Vineyard was backing from a parking slot and struck the pickup with his 2022 Subaru. No injuries were reported.

09/14/2024 1152hrs, Deputy Gray responded to a car vs. motorcycle accident on Carry Road in Oquossoc. Ervil Kennett (82) of Brunswick was driving a 2018 Ford F-150 and driving out the parking lot of the local grocery store striking a southbound 2002 Moto Guzzi motorcycle being driven by Michael Buhler (57) of Newfoundland Canada.  No injuries were reported.

09/14/2024 1301hrs, Deputy Gray investigated an attempted fraud complaint where a man living off the Stratton Road in Dallas Plt. was called by an alleged police agency wanting a money order.  This was determined to be fraudulent, no money exchanged hands.

09/14/2024 1322hrs, Deputy Gray assisted a motorist with a disabled vehicle on route 4 in Sandy River Plt.

09/14/2024 1633hrs, Sgt. Bean received a 911 call at a residence on Zions Hill Road in Chesterville. This was an accidental dial.

09/14/2024 1749hrs, Sgt. Close responded to a report of an ATV crash on Shaw Hill Road in Industry, the crash occurred on an ATV trail. The Maine Warden Service was called to the scene to take over the investigation.

09/14/2024 1923hrs, Deputy Clement received a 911 call at a residence on Main Street in Kingfield. This was an accidental dial.

09/14/2024 2016hrs, Deputy Clement received a complaint of fireworks being shot off on West Kingfield Road in Kingfield.

09/14/2024 2151hrs, Sgt. Bean received a 911 call at a residence on the Mercer Road in New Sharon. This was an accidental dial.

09/15/2024 0030hrs, Sgt. Bean responded to a report of a man who had fired a shotgun into a vehicle at a residence on the Smith Road in Carthage. As a result of the investigation with the help with the Androscoggin Sheriff’s office, Sgt. Close, and Deputy Maccione, Hunter Lamontagne (21) of Livermore was arrested for Reckless Conduct, Aggravated Criminal Mischief and charged with Discharge of Firearm near Dwelling. . He was transported to Franklin County Jail without incident.

09/15/2024 0717hrs, Deputy Morgan responded to a residence on Park Street in Phillips and arrested Nicole Waas  (39) of Phillips on a Warrant and transported her to jail.

09/15/2024 1001hrs, Deputy Morgan  received a request for a welfare check to be conducted at a residence on the Chandler Road in Industry. This turned out to be a person in mental health crises.  The person was taken to treatment at a mental health facility.

09/15/2024 1251hrs, Deputy Morgan received a gas drive off complaint at Sandy River Farm Supply in New Sharon. The suspect was identified and found to be a juvenile.  The juveniles father paid for the bill.

09/15/2024 2004hrs, Deputy Maccione responded to a car vs. deer accident on Anson Valley Road in New Vineyard.  Lance Arsenault (35) of Embden was driving  2023 Toyota Tundra when the collision occurred.

09/16/2024 0714hrs, Deputy Brann responded to a report of a death at a residence on Taylor Hill Road in Strong. Investigation revealed the death was the result of natural causes.

09/16/2024 1301hrs, Deputy Gray investigated a threatening complaint that originated in Kingfield from a tenant who was making online threats to his landlord.  As a result of the investigation the suspect was issued a no trespass noticed and was also given an eviction notice.

09/17/2024 0630hrs, Sheriff Nichols was flagged down by a person walking who reported an open door at a message therapist business on Broadway in Farmington.  He checked the business, found the door open and unsecure.  Farmington police were notified by dispatch.

09/17/2024 1430hrs, Sgt. Bean responded to a report of two vehicles traveling together which were allegedly driving all of the road.  He located the vehicles, identified the drivers and determined there were no issues regarding intoxication.

09/17/2024 1507hrs, Deputy Couture investigated a trespassing complaint at a residence on Hillside Drive in New Vineyard.

09/17/2024 1906hrs, Deputy Couture received a complaint of gunshots on Norton Hill Road in Strong. This turned out to be just a case of someone shooting off fireworks.

09/17/2024 2036hrs, Deputy Maccione received a complaint of a car with males inside harassing the complaint while at a stop sign on the Wilton Road in Chesterville, according to the complainants it was a case of road rage.  The complainants followed the vehicle giving the location and direction of travel to dispatch which ultimately led to Wilton Police Officer Cody Henry stopping the vehicle on route 2. As a result of the investigation Austin Child (27) of Dixfield was arrested for OUI and transported to jail.

09/17/2024 2055hrs, Deputy Clement received a 911 call at a residence on the Dodge Road in Avon. This was an accidental dial.

09/18/2024 0336hrs, Deputy Wacome responded to a report of a single vehicle accident on the Mercer Road in New Sharon near Pitcher Perfect Tire.  Investigation revealed that a white 2003 Chevy Silverado registered to Orlando Crooks (20) of Winslow was in the ditch and had taken out a utility pole dropping power and communication lines onto the road.  The traffic was shut down and diverted onto the Post Office Road from the time of the accident until 0745hrs. CMP came to the scene to restore power to the area.  The case is still under investigation.

09/18/2024 0844hrs, Deputy Frost received a request for a welfare check to be conducted on Besson Pit Road in Chesterville. The person to be checked on was located and found to be okay.

Amy King (39) of Vienna was driving a 2012 Dodge 2 door eastbound and was slowing down for a turning vehicle when her vehicle was struck from behind by a 2022 Peterbilt Tractor Trailer being driven by Hunter Driscoll (20) of Canton.  No injuries were reported.

09/18/2024 1217hrs, Deputy Frost investigated an attempted assault complaint at a residence on the Hunter Road in Strong.

09/18/2024 1536hrs, Deputy Frost responded to a welfare check complaint on Main Street in Strong where it was reported that a man was in a car near the middle school and apparently passed out.  This turned out to be a man sleeping in his car.

09/19/2024 1130hrs, Deputy Brann received a complaint from Customs at Coburn Gore than an individual from Russia drove to the border and accidentally entered the US.  While being checked, officials discovered illegal narcotics.  Since he had no intention of entering the US, he was sent back to Canada to have Canadian Law Enforcement deal with the drug issue.
