YARMOUTH — The Gray-New Gloucester/North Yarmouth Academy field hockey team remained undefeated with a 3-1 win over Lake Region on Wednesday.

Greta Tod scored two first-half goals for the Patriots (6-0), then Emma Bowden put it away with a fourth-quarter tally.

Tod’s first goal was assisted by Kenlie Nadeau and her second was set up by Bowden. Nadeau also assisted on Bowden’s goal.

Samantha Poulin made two saves for Gray-New Gloucester/NYA (6-0).

The Lakers (2-4) got a late goal from Mia Letarte, which was set up by Audrey Philbrook. Nicole Watson made 13 saves.

ST. DOMINIC 8, TRAIP ACADEMY 0: Three players scored two goals apiece as the Saints won handily in Auburn

Emily Andrews, Chloe Beauchesne and Ava Martin each scored twice for St. Dominic (5-2), while teammates Madeline Andrews and Abigail Labonte added one apiece.

Traip Academy fell to 1-3.

LEAVITT 6, LINCOLN ACADEMY 0: Ainsley Barry scored twice to lead the Hornets (7-0) past the Eagles (2-4) in Turner

Addie Twitchell contributed a goal and an assist, and Jada Beedy, Calee Libby and Natalie Moody also scored for Leavitt. Olivea Miller and Maddie Morin each had an assist.

YARMOUTH 5, POLAND 0: Sally McGrath paced the Clippers (6-1) with a goal and two assists in a win over the Knights (1-5) at Poland.

Maya Nasveschuk, Erica O’Connor, Celia Zinman and Gianna LaBella also scored.

BOYS SOCCER

PINE TREE ACADEMY 4, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 3: The Breakers (4-0) rallied from a 3-1 halftime deficit, scoring three unanswered second-half goals, including the eventual winner from James Pittman in the 41st minute to win in Jay.

Camden Brace, Sammy Bautista and Colin Verrill also had goals for Pine Tree Academy. Spruce Mountain fell to 2-4.

Spruce Mountain’s goals were scored by Jonathan Hines, Wyatt Foss and Maxwell Turner. Turner also had an assist. Phoenix goalie Blake Gemelli made 14 saves.

OAK HILL 3, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 1: Drew Hatala scored two second-half goals to lift the Raiders (3-4) over the Falcons (0-5-2) in Rumford.

Mountain Valley goalie Ben DeSalle set up the game’s first goal with a long drop kick that Tanner Henry put in the back of the net.

Oak Hill’s Kieran Stanley evened the game off an assist by Hatala. Hatala’s goals were assisted by Brandon Plourde and Kieran Stanley.

Raiders goalie Wyatt Blier finished with six saves.

GIRLS SOCCER

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 1, OAK HILL 1: The host Raiders played the Falcons to a draw in Wales.

Layce Boucher scored for Mountain Valley (1-5-1), while keeper Kloee Pelletier made 14 saves.

Audrey Custer scored for Oak Hill (1-4-1), assisted by Eliana Smith. MacKenzie Vattaso made four saves in goal.

DIRIGO 4, TELSTAR 1: Cami Wright and Sophie Nino each scored two goals in the Cougars’ win over the Rebels in Bethel.

Telstar’s (1-4) Haley Smith opened the scoring after Dirigo (2-3-1) goalie Madison Knowles bobble the ball inside the 6-yard line.

Wright evened the game before halftime, then she scored one more and Nino netted both of her goals in the second half.
