I have lived and taught in the Lewiston/Auburn area for years, and I have been blessed to know and work with some remarkable individuals. One such individual is Bettyann Sheats.
What has always impressed me about her is that she is a person of integrity who strives to do the right thing, and is also deeply devoted to her faith and to her Christian values. She has put her faith into action through a life of service in many ways and places.
She served our country in the military for eight years and has also contributed to our communities through her work with her church and local charities, such as St Mary’s Food Pantry. She served as a state representative, where she worked hard for her constituents. She has been steadfast in her adherence to a life of service.
I hope people consider voting for Bettyann for state Senate.
