On Nov. 5 when we cast our votes, I ask all veterans to think hard about who they vote for.
Right now we have an untold number of veterans living on the streets of our country while undocumented immigrants are being put up in luxury hotels and given many things, courtesy of the American taxpayer.
I know U.S. Rep. Jared Golden was in the Marines, but now he is in Congress. Washington has exposed him for what he really is — a fake, a phony and a fraud, also known as a career politician, who only cares about getting reelected.
When people cast their vote, they should ask themselves one question: who have Golden and the Democrats spent more money on, veterans or undocumented immigrants?
The Marine motto is semper fidelis, meaning “always faithful.” In Golden’s case I would ask, to whom?
It certainly isn’t to veterans, Mainers or Americans.
