BUCKFIELD — Cora Brewster’s corner kick set up Chloee Bennett for the tie-breaking goal late in the second half, lifting the undefeated Buckfield girls soccer team to a 3-2 win over Bangor Christian on Friday.
Brewster and Brittany Carrier also scored for Buckfield (7-0).
Bennette and Anna Thone had assists, while goalie Kianna Finnegan made 10 saves.
GREELY 5, POLAND 1: Molly Partridge scored three goals, including one on a penalty kick, as the undefeated Rangers won in Poland.
Jackie Franklin and Abby Lennox also scored for Greely (6-0-2), while Presley Allard made two saves in goal.
Phoebe Paradis scored for Poland (4-4), and keeper Olivia Rioux had 12 saves.
BOYS SOCCER
EDWARD LITTLE 2, BANGOR 1: Abdi Mohamoud and Christian Mazina scored second-half goals for the Red Eddies in their win at Bangor.
Will Wallingford added an assist for Edward Little (4-1-1), and keeper Max Kimball made three saves.
Jasper Sparks scored for Bangor (4-3), and Maddox Smith made six saves in net.
GREELY 6, POLAND 0: Owen Piesik and Connor Skillin each had a pair of first half goals as the Rangers won at Cumberland.
Hunter Caiazzo and Sylas Almy chipped in with second half goals for Greely (7-0-1). Poland is 2-6.
OAK HILL 5, WINTHROP 1: Drew Hatala scored two first-half goals to spark the Raiders to a victory over the Ramblers in Wales.
Hatala also assisted on Oak Hill’s (4-4) final goal of the contest, which was scored by Kieran Stanley. Isaac Galvez and Braden New each added a goal, while Brandon Plourde had three assists and Jordan Castonguay one. Goalie Wyatt Blier made six saves.
Winthrop’s (1-4-2) goal was scored by Callen Harrison.
FIELD HOCKEY
SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 5, ST. DOMINIC 2: Aisla Armandi had three goals and an assist as the Phoenix won in Auburn.
Alaina Kachnovich had a goal and an assist for Spruce Mountain (6-1), while Ava Davis added a goal. Adell Pease had two assists and Maddie Grimaldi one. Mallory Clark (eight saves) and Kyleigh Marcotte (six) split time in the Spruce Mountain goal.
Chloe Beauchesne scored twice for St. Dominic (5-3), while Maia Cote made four saves.
BOOTHBAY 4, TELSTAR 0: Magen Burge had two goals and an assist as the Seahawks won in Bethel.
Mariah Smith and Bailey Lewis also scored for Boothbay (2-4).
Taejyah Lego made 19 saves in goal for Telstar (0-8).
