Dave Granlund’s cartoon in the Sept. 25 Sun Journal suggests that while Israel is at war with Hamas, it inadvertently is shooting itself in the foot.
Hamas’s attack on Israel last year is depicted as a mere snakebite.
In fact, Hamas butchered and beheaded civilians, gang-raped men and women, slashed women’s breasts, placed babies in ovens, and pounded nails into genitalia.
To compare these acts to a “snakebite” is not newspaper worthy, and as a Jewish American, I am offended.
