We need a representative who brings fresh perspective. Someone who will share the worries that we voice at town meetings and not be concerned with what the state party says.
Town road maintenance? Adequate fire and other emergency services? How to provide for an education system that meets the needs of our students and prepares them for whatever is ahead in their lives? How to encourage better health options? Better child care options for working parents? Encourage civic life that builds communities? How to address those concerns, without the finger-on-the-scale of a political bias?
That is why we support Charlotte Nutt for House District 79 — Woodstock, Sumner, West Paris and Paris. She, literally, meets us at our kitchen tables to hear us. As an independent she is not controlled by a party structure and can be independent of political concerns. She would be a representative who answers her mail.
Linda Glass, Sumner
