AUBURN — The Auburn Public Library is offering a presentation on winter storm preparedness tailored for homeowners, renters and pet owners in Maine. People can learn practical tips and strategies to keep their family and pets safe during the winter months.
The event is set for 5-6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, in the Androscoggin Community Room at 49 Spring St; no registration is required.
A survival kit worth $200 will be raffled off at this event. Those who require language services should call Healthy Androscoggin before the event at 207-795-5990.
This program is sponsored by Healthy Androscoggin, Greater Androscoggin Humane Society, StrengthenME, the city of Auburn, and the library.
