Singer and multi-instrumentalist Mary Murphy returns to the Oasis of Music beginning at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, at Trinity Commons in Lewiston. She will perform some originals, some blues and some nostalgic tunes with vocals, piano, blues harp and ukulele.
Murphy, who has won awards from the Downeast Country Music Association and the North American Country Music Association International, has recently released “Stubborn,” a new CD of original songs. More information is available at marymurphymusic.net.
The Oasis of Music is based in Trinity Commons located at 247 Bates St., Lewiston. It is a weekly music series of performances of roughly thirty minutes, running from September to May. Admission is free, with donations accepted. For more information, call 207-344-3106.
