POLAND — One person died Tuesday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash on Summit Spring Road, according to an Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post.

The male driver, who is not being named pending notification to family, was traveling on Summit Spring Road toward White Oak Hill Road when the vehicle rolled over as it was rounding a curve. He was alone in the vehicle.

The driver was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from their vehicle and died at the scene, the post said.

The crash remains under investigation and more information will be released Wednesday, the post said.
