GREENE – Debra (Tremblay) Merrill, 64, of Greene went home to her heavenly family on Sept. 23, 2024 following a short illness.
“Debbie” as she was most commonly known, grew up in Lewiston-Auburn and attended local schools. She worked locally and settled in Greene where she raised her family with her husband, Dana Merrill. Her pride and joy was her family, especially her two little grandchildren, Isabelle and Isaiah, whom she absolutely adored. She was a very giving soul who was known for her big heart and loving manner. Her infectious smile and laughter could warm the coldest of days, and her loving touch could warm the coldest of hearts.
She was a beloved sister to five siblings, a loving mother to her son and daughter-in-law, an adoring Nana to four precious gems, and a loving friend to many. Debbie was loved by all who knew her. Her loss will leave a hole that can never be filled, but our hearts will forever hold the most loving memories of Debbie for all the time we were blessed to have her in our lives.
Debbie was predeceased by her husband, Dana Merrill; son, Earvin Michael Merrill; and parents Joe and Lorraine Tremblay.
She is survived by her siblings David, Richard, Elizabeth, Ron and Patricia; her son, Taylor Merrill and daughter-in-law, Brianna Merrill; and her wonderful grandchildren, Isabelle and Isaiah Merrill, and Cade and Kendall Merrill.
Services for Debbie will be held for her on Saturday Oct. 5, 1 to 3 p.m., at Funeral Alternatives in Lewiston.
