In November, I’m supporting U.S. Rep. Jared Golden for Congress.
He has proven himself as someone who truly understands the issues that Maine workers face every day. His voting record alone proves his concerns of these folks. During our strike of 2020 at Bath Iron Works, Golden walked with us and took the time to learn about our plight and publicly stood with us.
Golden isn’t afraid to buck party leadership, which is proven by his voting record. I wonder if Rep. Austin Theriault can make that claim?
Frankly, Theriault’s legislative votes show him to favor the wealthiest of folks and not really trying to help the average Maine worker. I looked it up myself and encourage others to so as well.
Just to be clear, I, and others, haven’t always agreed with Golden, but I do respect the work he is doing to help make life better for working people.
