BANGOR — Edward Little scored twice in the second half to earn a 2-1 field hockey victory over Bangor on Monday.
Mackenzie Joler scored in the third quarter and Reegan Saunders added the go-ahead goal in fourth for the Red Eddies (4-5). Lola Bisson assisted on Saunders’ tally.
Emery Higgins scored at the end of the first quarter for Bangor (1-8). Lauren Small had the helper.
Goalie Ruby Harris stopped three shots for the Red Eddies, and Abby Folsom stopped eight shots for the Rams.
GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER/NYA 4, FRYEBURG 0: Kenlie Nadeau scored three goals to lead the Patriots (9-1) by the Raiders (6-3) at Gray.
Lydia Trytek added a fourth-quarter goal for Gray-New Gloucester. Trytek also had an assist, as did Kasey Kebles and Zoe Trepaney. Patriots goalie Samantha Poulin notched her fourth shutout of the season.
LISBON 2, TELSTAR 0: A pair of third-quarter goals lifted the Greyhounds past the Rebels in Bethel.
Alivia Saunders broke the scoreless tie with a Lisbon (5-3) goal with 2:18 left in the third, then Julia Quagliaroli made it 2-0 with 47.5 seconds left in the period.
Telstar (0-10) goalie Taeyjah Lego made 10 saves.
GIRLS SOCCER
WINTHROP 3, LISBON 1: Katie Beck scored three goals to lead the Ramblers over the Greyhounds in Winthrop.
Zion Armstrong, Meelah Presti and Sophie Lessard has assists for Winthrop (4-3).
Amelia Dunn scored an unassisted goal for Lisbon (2-8-1).
MARANACOOK 6, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 0: Maranacook scored six goals in the first half against Spruce Mountain in Readfield.
Phoebe Bell, Celia Bergdahl, Cooper Davis, Evelyn Stevenson, Madi Jacobson and Caroline Harper each scored for the Black Bears (8-0-2). Bell also had two assists.
The Phoenix fall to 1-7-1.
