I hope people join me in voting to reelect Kristen Cloutier to the Maine House of Representatives.
Kristen is a consistent, wise and experienced leader. She not only listens deeply to our community, but was elected to be assistant majority leader by her peers. To me, this speaks volumes about the way that she leads; she gives and garners respect in equal measure.
As a nurse, I take comfort in Kristen’s broad approach to protecting the health of our communities. She led efforts to ensure Mainers can take care of, and advocate for, their loved ones with the Paid Family Medical Leave Act, is working to make housing safer for children and families by funding lead abatement efforts, is increasing the availability of lifesaving naloxone, and co-sponsored legislation to protect our local water source so we have clean water for generations to come.
Vote Cloutier for a safer, healthier community.

We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
For those stories that we do enable discussion, our system may hold up comments pending the approval of a moderator for several reasons, including possible violation of our guidelines. As the Maine Trust’s digital team reviews these comments, we ask for patience.
Comments are managed by our staff during regular business hours Monday through Friday and limited hours on Saturday and Sunday. Comments held for moderation outside of those hours may take longer to approve.
