AUBURN — Kenlie Nadeau’s second half trick of the week propelled the Gray-New Gloucester/NYA field hockey team to a 3-0 victory over Edward Little on Thursday.
Nadeau also scored three goals in Monday against Fryeburg.
Olivia Byther assisted on Nadeau’s first two goals and Emma Bowden set up the third.
Gray-New Gloucester/NYA (10-1) goalie Samantha Poulin made two saves. Sophia Gerry and Ruby Harris each made two for Edward Little (4-6).
BOYS SOCCER
MESSALONSKEE 3, MT. BLUE 2: CJ Wallingford scored his second goal of the game on a penalty kick with six seconds remaining in overtime to lift the Eagles over the Cougars in Farmington.
Christian Salvadori also scored for Messalonskee (6-6). Goalie Dagan Gooding stopped eight shots.
Mt. Blue’s (4-6) Luc Walker forced overtime with a goal with eight seconds left in regulation. Agusti Garcia also scored for the Cougars, while Kaden Smith and Nate Zeliger each had an assist. Cougars goalie Kooper Keller made six saves.
TELSTAR 4, PINE TREE ACADEMY 0: The Rebels avenged a loss earlier in the season by beating the Breakers in Bethel.
Telstar took control earlier, scoring three first-half goals, including two by Cyrus Mills. Mills finished with a hat trick, and Mason Perks contributed a goal and an assist. Maceo Bartlett also had an assist.
Rebels goalie Adam Stephenson stopped all eight shots he faced.
GIRLS SOCCER
TEMPLE ACADEMY 3, DIRIGO 0: Dixie Szabo netted a hat trick as the Bereans won in Dixfield.
Mia Fitzpatrick and Lucy Bonacci had assists for Temple Academy (11-0).
Dirigo fell to 3-5-1.
GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 3, POLAND 2: Ashley Anderson, Hailey Carson and Hannah Bolduc scored in the first half to give the Patriots (4-6-2) a 3-0 halftime lead, and they held off a comeback bid by the Knights (4-6-1) in Gray.
Arianna Gammon and Jillian Palmer scored for Poland, which got 12 saves from Olivia Rioux.
Carson, Gray-New Gloucester’s keeper, finished with three saves.
