I’m independent and vote on policies, not party. That’s why I’m voting for Kamala Harris.
In a nation increasingly pulled toward extremes, I’m seeking someone who brings moderation to governance. Who disavows the zero-sum approach that dehumanizes those who disagree with us. Who sees reaching across difference as the grist that helps America achieve our lofty aspirations.
Kamala Harris is that person, based on the administration’s accomplishments and her vision for the future.
Accomplishments include: a critical bipartisan infrastructure law passed; over 24 million acres of public lands conserved; record high level of energy independence achieved; and substantial jobs and revenue generated, including nearly 50,000 jobs and $1.2 billion invested in Maine alone.
Amidst the polarization, Kamala Harris offers a path that speaks to Mainers’ independence.
She can lead us to a future where we shed grievance and instead return to working together to leverage our classic American can-do spirit.
