DEAR SUN SPOTS: The Musical Afternoon that was postponed in August due to a surge in COVID infections has been rescheduled. It will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, at Mexico Congregational Church, UCC (the “Green Church”), 163 Main St. There will be a hymn sing, special music by an ecumenical choir, Ukuleles of Weld, guest choirs, and a humorous skit. Following the musical event, there will be a ribbon-cutting downstairs to open the dining room, which has been in recovery since the flood of December 2023. Light refreshments will be served.
