She is a trained seamstress who does alterations, upcycling, custom designs, gives private lessons and more. You can schedule an appointment through her website or call her at 405-3750. Her hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday and Saturday.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: A baked bean supper will be held from 4:30-6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Sixth Street Congregational Church at 109 Sixth St. in Auburn. The menu will include two kinds of beans, brown bread, coleslaw, red and brown hot dogs, assorted casseroles, assorted desserts and beverages. The cost of the meal is $9 for adults, $5 for children ages 5 to 12, and free for those under age 5. All are welcome. Takeout is available. — Elizabeth, no town
