
GORHAM, NH — The public is invited to join Appalachian Mountain Club and Mahoosuc Land Trust, at Big Day Brewing, Gorham, NH, Sunday, October 27, from 6-8 p.m. for conversation, food, drink, and a talk by AMC’s Terrestrial Ecologist, Jordon Tourville, PhD. Jordon’s research passions include treeline shifts in the alpine zone, changes to plant life cycles in response to climate change, and what action can be taken in management and policy to protect biological diversity in this globally important landscape. Food and drink can be ordered a la carte from Big Day’s celebrated menu, but there is no charge to attend the presentation.
Mahoosuc Land Trust’s mission is to inspire action through conservation, with a vision of thriving communities and healthy landscapes for all. The mission of the Appalachian Mountain Club is to foster the protection, enjoyment, and understanding of the outdoors.
