Matt West, the assistant director of LRTC, said that student leaders have met on a regular basis to come up with a plan to show their support. “This is all the student leadership council’s idea,” said West. “What first responders went through on Oct. 25 was significant and the students wanted to say thank you in a respectful way.” Behind Westleigh is LHS student Megan Wagner, left, and ELHS student Ahmed Ali.
