YORK — Keegan Reny plunged in from the 1-yard line to cap a 17-play, 95-yard drive late in the first quarter, sparking Leavitt on its way to a 34-0 win over York on Friday.
Reny added a 4-yard scoring run for the Hornets (3-5), Josh Blais had a 9-yard rushing touchdown, and Brock Poulin threw touchdown passes to Brody Poland (20 yards) and Landon Daigle (35 yards) as Leavitt snapped a three-game losing streak.
The Wildcats (2-5), meanwhile, finish the season on a two-game losing skid.
FREEPORT 28, POLAND 6: Teddy Peters rushed for three touchdowns as the Falcons (5-3) ended their regular season with a win over the Knights (1-7) at Freeport.
Peters scored on a 5-yard run in the first quarter, a 9-yard run in the second and an 8-yard run in the third. Ben Bolduc added a 6-yard scoring run later in the third quarter for a 28-0 lead.
Poland’s Shawn West caught a 37-yard TD pass from Damon Martin in the fourth quarter.
WINDHAM 17, OXFORD HILLS 14: Creighty Dickson kicked a 20-yard field goal as time expired to life the Eagles (3-5) past the Vikings (4-4) in Paris.
Brayden Murch caught a pass while double covered and scored a touchdown early in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 14. Oxford Hills had a chance to take the lead, but a missed field goal and Windham drove down inside the Vikings’ 5-yard line. Oxford Hills’ defense stuff the Eagles a few times, bringing up fourth down with about 3 seconds left. After a few timeouts, Dickson kicked the ball through the uprights.
GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER: 38, TRAIP 0: The Patriots improved to 5-3, the best record in the program’s 20-year history, with a shutout win over the Rangers (2-6) in Gray.
Gray-New Gloucester opened the scoring with a 62-yard touchdown pass from Kobi Conant to Isaac Ormberg. Conant added three more TD passes in the second and ran in a score to give the Patriots a 32-0 halftime lead.
Conant’s fifth touchdown pass, and third to Ormberg, in the third quarter capped the scoring.
Conant completed 11 of 18 passes for 303 yards and the five scores, and he ran five times for 68 yards and a touchdown. Ormberg caught five passes for 147 yards, Kody Tracy had two receptions for 74 yards and a score, and Brody Tracy finished with two catches for 62 yards and a TD.
DIRIGO 50, MATTANAWCOOK 13: Hudson Lufkin connected with Nathaniel Wainwright for three touchdown passes as the Cougars (6-1) wrapped up the regular season with a rout of the Lynx (2-6) in Dixfield.
Lufkin finished with four TD passes and ran for one score.
Lufkin opened the scoring with a 45-yard touchdown run, then connected with Wainwright on a 40-yard scoring strike to give Dirigo a 14-0 lead. Mattanawcook scored before the end of the first quarter, then the Cougars took control with a dominating second quarter.
Brady Philbrick hauled in a 35-yard TD pass from Lufkin, Tanner Bradeen (2 yards) and Dakota White (9 yards) ran for scores, and then Lufkin tossed touchdown passes of 31 and 30 yards to cap the Cougars’ scoring before halftime.
Defensively, Wainwright recovered a fumble and intercepted a pass, Philbrick made an interception, Gio Patterson recovered a fumble and Dakota White had a sack.
