I haven’t written to an editor with my opinion for a very long time. However, since I became a resident of Auburn a couple of years ago, I have been fortunate to have Laurel Libby as my representative.
Over the last two years, I have seen a bit of “crazy” going on in Augusta, like late-night votes and a lack of transparency. During this time I have noticed she worked in a steady, focused manner to try to keep in check a lot of the “crazy.”
I expect more “crazy” in the next biannual session of the state Legislature. That is one reason I hope voters in House District 90 will stay the course with our seasoned and steady current Rep. Laurel Libby.
She is smart, hardworking, and just very good at her job. We would be well served with Laurel returning to the Maine Legislature.
