In response to Holly Cooney’s letter (“Ammo giveaway shouldn’t still be on website,” Oct. 23), I commend her eloquently worded remarks concerning content on candidate Laurel Libby’s website.
It is poignant and spot-on.
As a 60-plus-year resident of the Lewiston/Auburn community, and one whose nephew was murdered in last year’s mass shooting, I too, am appalled.
The content of the website promoting ammo giveaway is extraordinarily insensitive, not only to me but to the entire community.
I agree with Holly; Laurel Libby should be ashamed. As long as it is politically advantageous, obviously she is not.
I hope people get out and vote.
