Having served with Tom Shannon on the Lewiston School Committee for several years and working with him on various other projects, I have first-hand knowledge of his dedication to serving our community with integrity, and his willingness to be flexible to accommodate the ever-changing needs of our community.
He has shown himself to be open-minded — willing to receive new information and able to change his opinion when presented with new facts. This is extremely important in these times of increasing political divisiveness. Tom has a long track record for advocating and voting for what is best for our residents; not along party lines.
For these reasons, I have full confidence in his ability to properly represent us at the county level, and he has earned my vote and my endorsement.
I hope people join me in voting for Tom Shannon for Androscoggin County commissioner on Nov. 5.
