Three people were killed in a head-on crash on Egypt Road in Raymond Wednesday morning.

Police said a Nissan Frontier pickup truck crossed the center line around 11 a.m. and crashed into a Subaru Crosstrek SUV.

The driver of the truck, Gregory Logue, 56, of Windham, and Tamara and Arthur Harmon, both 80 and of Raymond, who were in the SUV, were all killed, according to Lt. James Estabrook of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.

“None of the occupants from either vehicle had survived the crash,” Estabrook said during a news briefing Wednesday afternoon.

Estabrook said the crash is still under investigation, but witness statements and evidence at the crash scene indicated that Logue had been driving erratically prior to the crash, crossed the center line and hit the Subaru head-on.

Egypt Road, which has a 45 mph speed limit, was wet from light rain, but Estabrook said it’s too soon to say if weather was a factor in the crash.

The section of Egypt Road near the Raymond-Gray town line was closed for several hours Wednesday and reopened just before 2:30 p.m.

Maine State Police assisted the sheriff’s office at the scene.
