Lewiston High School Chamber Choir and Lewiston High School Blue Notes will be among the performers at the Maine Music Society’s 29th annual Battle of the Blends which begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Franco Center in Lewiston. The Chamber Choir is an advanced choral ensemble who have performed at various community events; the Blue Notes is an auditioned ensemble whose dedicated members prepare their music on their own time. The Battle of the Blends brings together vocal groups for an evening of diverse a cappella performances. There will also be performances by Maine Music Society Chamber Singers, None of the Above, The Afternotes, and The Downeasters Chorus. Tickets are just $6 for students ages 13 and up, and as always, youth 12 and under attend free when accompanied by an adult.
